Awesome! Although I'm not a believer in generic but I think it's a bfd in the programming field which will be as important as the REST thesis, or ror. How about a service with similar approach that offers Parse to appengine migrat

I feel sad for HK. A protest led by teenagers? Where are the adults? If these teenagers were devised, where are their parents? Do they have any idea whom they are fighting against, fighting for? Shame on all HK adults.

so according to your opinion, a protester bits your arse and it's a show? I'm a programmer and I have proposed a straight forward rule to help me understand the situation. If you have a better way, show me. If what you are saying

There is a single rule to see tell the true motivation of a protest: is the biggest protest sign written in English (if the general public in the area/country not native English speakers)? If yes, it's probably a show to leverage

Not sure for whom this Cube is made. If it's for regular people to dancing together, why there is no regular forks in the video to say something, if it's for artists, why there is no single piece of artwork presented, if it's

Rust is interesting one. The only part I dislike is the pointer ownership. Can they work out a better model/analogy after 15 years of Boost?

I do agree with your points, but i think you've over generalised them into a degree that discussion is not only unnecessary but also childish. Let's restore the context back to Swift in iOS programming to match its targeting marke

when I first saw Golang, I hated it, but now I think it's the best server side language. Galang is an insanely pragmatic language. It's not fancy, just works. Facing Swift, I had mixed feelings. It's a beautiful language, pro

It's not going to work, no matter how much Ray Ozzie is widely admired (his remarks on Google Wave is really insightful). Here is the deal breaker: here is no easy way to edit sound so far on phone, nor computer. It means no editorship

I think the file metaphor is a must for the separation of OS and applications. Unless you have a better conceptual framework to deal with this problem, you'd probably live with "files".

agree. What's the killer App for it? Maybe it's the HealthKit related things, but they hardly appeal to core Apple buyers: young people! It'll be a historical change if Apple starts to add oldlies into its base.

So according to your logic, Microsoft in the 90s was not in the "unique position"? All your points about user engagements, keeping them around, intrinsic value, applied to Microsoft perfectly. The fact is, Google occupies a unique

Your argument is based on the assumption that Google occupies the unique position in the user->view->ad-click chain, your wording "at a location where people just breeze right through". let's deal with it for a moment.

it's a common misunderstanding that ad publishers care about Google users. They care their own customers, and Google is just a user acquisition channel. Say you are a bread maker, do you care the shopping environment your customers buy
