The intent is not to provide an "unstealable" token, but a revocable one. You can't (don't need to) revoke the refresh token but you can revoke the access token by disallowing refresh.

That may have been the intent, but in a (very, very) large portion of cases the developer simply wants a way to verify identity claims. That is, verify that you are who you claim to be. 3rd party identity providers (Facebook et. al.) are

I think it's supposed to work like this: assuming more users == more revenue, then opening up and promoting the use of APIs creates alternative channels to acquire new users (partner apps have their own incentive to attract users etc)

I really don't get the debate. If you want to test state vs. behavior you still need to orchestrate and verify that state. You're still "mocking" because you're (presumably) not using a production system on which
