Unlikely. SFDC acquired Seattle-based Thinkfuse last year, who had a great product that people LOVED, and shut it down: http://techcrunch.com/2012/06/25/salesforce-acquires-techsta...

Great to see the Meteor team engaging with the developer community and organizing a hackathon. A great reference for anyone organizing one of these for the first time is the Hack Day Manifesto: http://hackdaymanifesto.com

I'm not sure what you were taught in school, but there are massive differences between physical property and intellectual property. The very notion of intellectual property, the assignment of rights and their enforcement by governments is q

That's a great point. For collaborative blogs, using Jekyll/GH spares you from having to sync permissions between your source control and your web host. That's big part of why we used Jekyll for SeattleHacks[1]. [1]: http://SeattleHacks.co

I did consider Calagator[1], which is both the defacto tech calendar in Portland and an open source project[2]. However, I realized that using this tool was going to require me to a) install it b) host it and c) moderate it. I had recently

+1 for being a tortured Wizards fan +1 for the comments above (add @moneymetalcakes!) Also, thank you for making software for sports fans. The stuff from the big media companies is freaking terrible. Let me know if you'd like to participate

I hate to judge a book by its cover, but shouldn't this ebook have been a single page app itself?

It seems that the author thinks Bitcoin is going to steadily appreciate indefinitely, which is obviously not the case. Give a kid a BC at $140 and you'll have a furious kid when it crashes to $15. Somewhat off-topic: isn't BC just digital g

It is worth noting that the OP is calling this tool pithy (terse, meaningful). In an application I'm working on [1] I have several lines of jQuery and string concatenation to build some simple content. It's probably overkill to use a full-b
