btw, a lot of postgres envs are not going to have pgmq, so just use Oban and don't reinvent the wheel like I did ;)

Very nice, Oban is great. I effectually found a similar approach with pgflow.dev (built around pgmq) - but the stateless deno "workers" are pretty unreliable and built an elixir worker ( https://github.com/agoodway&

I'm happy other people are thinking about this. One of the big stories over the fast years that few know about is a number of the French colonies kicking off the shackles. Can they make it on their own or with their new Chinese and Rus

You could probably use listen/subscribe trigger to accomplish that.

Yes, and I imagine pgclaw would pair well with pgmq and pg_cron for scheduled work. Postgres really is enough: https://postgresisenough.dev

It sort of sounds link you expected a one-shot miracle or am I misreading? Try this: start from scratch and use openspec explore - talk to it about what you are going for, tell it to call the built-in frontend-design skill and install a hug

I'm saying that you just have to start, even if it's a single line of throw-away code. The learnings along the way will guide you. That's it.

You can, start by clearing and grading the site - get a shed up over your head. Then you can start then start the skyscraper next to it and work out of the shed.

It’s actually the opposite - you actually can. The feel I'm getting reading anti-AI sentiment is people are expect one shot results out of limited context.

This is the killer combo. Working on something now that uses pgmq + Elixir for DAG workflows: https://github.com/agoodway/pgflow

Good stuff, I turned my gist into an info site and searchable directory (and referenced this article as well, which seems to pay homage to my gist, which in turn inspired the site) https://PostgresIsEnough.dev

In 2026, Postgres and it's ecosystem just keep getting better with the recent example of pg_textsearch (BM25). A few years ago a gist of mine blew up on hacker news (gist: https://gist.github.com/cpursley/c8fb81fe8

Regarding your last comment, majority of the people here are costal with FAT paychecks slinging code for VCs. It’s a totally different universe than running a Saas. That said, still a valuable forum.

It’s considered an Ultraproceed food item. Just look up how it’s made and what’s added to it (oils, emulsifiers, fortified with minerals). It’s basically liquid cereal, but maybe worse.
