There is another VHDL PDP-11 called the W11a: https://wfjm.github.io/home/w11/ One eventual goal is for it to be a PDP-11/70mP, a PDP-11 "quadcore".

Try your local library. Our system, at least, tries to ensure that there are always several books about local flora.

The family machine is a 2009 Mac Pro with dual hex core processors, 48 gigs of RAM and 2 low watt video cards running Ubuntu. It does multiseat like a champ: one side was playing Hitman (2016) while the other was doing Tomb Raider (2013).

You can also do this with UNIX pipes and a few small C programs, apparently. https://www.linusakesson.net/programming/pipelogic/index.php

Thank you for the Nat King Cole reference. Upon initially reading that "in the end, the greatest thing is to be loved, and to love in return", I thought to myself that that sounded nothing like Ric Flair.

I have a non-rebranded Viper and before that the Sparcle. I loved the thing but the 4mb of video memory made it unusable for daily driving.

Yes and letters are sent out informing the person. Sometimes they claimed they returned them, which is only true in a very tiny minority of cases. (Every library checks the claim list every month.) Fines stop at the cost of the item, so

It can get worse than that. Amherst College kicked a young man for "sexual assault" when he was blacked out drunk and a girl decided to perform oral sex on him. The accuser actually did commit sexual assault and there isn't

The AT&T one only has to do with dial-up accounts and is mainly about maintaining a connection with dial-up when not actively using it.

It's the same people who put out the nearly identical looking Cozmo a couple of years ago. Same thing, but apparently can hear now.

Having an older Mac Pro, I saw that it Mojave will do a firmware upgrade. I won't be using MacOs, but will be running the installer for that. Thank you Apple!

It's an older Mac Pro: all UEFI and sleds rather than cables. I can try doing the RAM reseating, but the Mac Pro won't even go to EFI if it thinks there's something wrong with the RAM; how I found that out: I initially didn&

I've noticed that too. Looking and looking for a certain type of thing, can't find anything worthwhile until, randomly, something good in the you might like trio which should have obviously shown up in the genre browsing.

Recently, I watched a few horror movies because they got good ratings (which I interpret as good-for-a-horror-movie, rather than good per se). Between seeing the rating, watching (half usually) of them and going to rate it myself, the rati

Ooo! I have a question! Where do I learn more about overlays? The BSD 2.11 code I've read has comments about overlays, but I have no idea where to learn more about how to understand the topic. I came across it while I was seeing if

Is there anything I can read to learn more about overlaying in C? I was reading, to my limited abilities' limits, 2.11 BSD source and there was a lot of references to overlaying.
