Exactly. A travel agent works for the client, not the airline. Its their job to advice the traveler of any hidden fees.

Ignoring the reasons why this happens is just as bad as ignoring the consequences. The need for security is just as much a force of nature as the need for innovation. Unless you provide a solution for both, the cycle will keep repeating.

I havent done the numbers but you are probably right. Orbits are very unintuitive things. For starters they're much higher than a suborbital trajectory. You would also need to pre-target to stage in orbit and at that point you're

I really want to believe in this but I bet you the study has some major methodological flaws regarding all protests that end up in nothing. I live in venezuela, we've had millions of people on the streets multiple times and we still ge

I've been using Bravecto and Nexgard for the past 4 years and it really should be emphasized how much of a seismic shift these meds have been. I've had dogs all my life and live in a very tick-prone area. Nothing ever really worke

The thing about being a very rational person like this, is that you're very easy to manipulate.

There's a lot of FUD around the subject too. Take naysayers with the same degree of skepticism you take the optimistic folk.

This is a serious problem. Internet marketplaces are so big now that its really hard to even have a business without them at all. I think that after a certain size, these marketplaces should be regulated to insure due process between the pa

In Vernor Vinge's book A Deepness in the Sky, humanity is spread out around the stars with only subluminal technology. Interstellar ships are very old and mix many technologies from different systems and civilizations. They touch on th

Germany is irrationally closing down their completely green nuclear plants and installing gas and coal. I don't think that was the plan. Blackballing nuclear has been the worst environmental decision our society has ever made. We would

Another amazing product is Bravecto for ticks and fleas. I've had dogs all my life in a very tropical climate. I've battled with ticks for ages. It was always a combined-arms war of attrition just to keep them in check. But then c

Its hard to explain how bad this problem is getting to people that don't live near the sea. If you're downcurrent anywhere in the world, your beaches are basically full of trash that gets replenished on a daily basis It really pis

I see why you might think that but is there really data to back it up? Making good products and respecting your customers is a great way to stay in business. I don't see why china selling tractors would change that. If anything, it wou

They're not forced, but you should have a chance to defend yourself before they unilaterally take away your livelihood. Mistakes DO happen, yknow? Also, why are they freezing funds when banks cant do that? Seems illogical.

I get your point but I think you're being too simplistic and also focusing on this particular case when I was talking about broad industry practices. Some marketplaces are so big that not participating is simply not an option. Do you

This keeps happening again and again in all online marketplaces. Be it amazon, ebay, app stores, etc. This NEEDS to be regulated. If thousands of companies make a living in your marketplace, you simply can't be allowed to take destruct

We do it for text, audio and bitmapped images. A 3D scene file format is no different, you could train a model to output a blender file format instead of a bitmap. It can learn anything you have data for. Heck, we do it with geospatial data

Probably not. But there does seem to be a clear path to it. The main issue is going to be having the right dataset. You basically need to record user actions in something like blender (ie: moving a model of a bike to the left of a scene),
