When Flexible Server was first announced, I’m sure I remember them stating it’ll use Private (VNet) networking by default. Seems strange they’ve changed tact there. Either way, we migrated to Flexible Server on day one of GA purely for the

I’d never considered SNI sniffing. Great point. I’m quite fortunate in that the ISP I’m with (AAISP) is fairly privacy first and don’t _appear_ to be snooping on me in any meaningful way. That said, I can’t say the same for my phone provide

This thread seems to be full of people that use a VPN, I personally don’t as I find DoH + HTTPS to be enough. Why do so many of you use VPNs?

The Commodore 64 I’m building could probably be taught how to read ASCII with enough effort, but out of the box it can’t. I appreciate modern computers conform to standards, but that doesn’t mean that these standards have always existed, or

Ha! I remember this being announced. I vaguely remember running a few nodes with ReFS about 6 years ago, which felt like a spiritual successor, but I’ve not used Windows since then so have no idea if ReFS ever caught on in the server space.

I’m in the process of changing our local development containerisation strategy within the business from Docker for Desktop to Lima. So far it’s been absolutely flawless.

Well, we use Mailgun at work and it’s pretty great. I’ve only ever had one issue with it and it and their support was outstanding. As somebody who used to work in enterprise support, I don’t see them as having done anything wrong here. It’s

This was a problem I’d really hoped Keybase would solve. Thanks Zoom. Whenever I rebuild my Mac I seem to inexplicably have endless problems getting GPG and Git to play nice. I quite like the idea of using my SSH Keys for this use case as i

Yes, we use AquaSec and it’s absolutely the same engine. Trivy is so good we were tempted to drop AquaSec entirely as we only use it in our CI and this covers our requirements.

I do this quite frequently, but use the following stackoverflow https://stackoverflow.com/questions/18215389/how-do-i-measur... This blog appears to be much of the same, regardless, good information to get out the

We store a lot more than just passwords in there. Credit Card Numbers, RSA/ED25519 keys, and it even connects to our Azure Key Vaults. Having a full non-browser UX is advantageous.

We’ve been a 1Password for Business customer for about 3 years. But we’re looking at moving to something like BitWarden because it has true SSO support, while 1Password doesn’t. 1Password has been very clear this is a feature they’re not in

This happens to me too, I’m using 1Password. I have a suspicion the plug-in is involved with this but I’ve not had time to collect evidence yet. Seems to be rare though, I’ve not spotted anybody else with this issue.

We’re an Azure/M365 house, but some of the things this tool explicitly solves were mentioned as areas of improvement for us during PCI assessment recently. I’ll be keeping an eye on this. Great work so far!

So it looks like Ubiquiti UniFi firmware version 3.9.3.7537 patches against this - which was released to Beta testers ~two hours ago on their community site. I wonder if this is also going to require client side patching from the OS vendors
