Well, we found the issue! I started to look at the WMT crawl info and there were a bunch of network unreachable errors. Here is what happened: our site being PR6/7, we started getting a lot of scans for exploits. Some of them over and over.

Using Putty (Windows) or iTerm (OS X) in full screen. Or use Visor in OS X http://visor.binaryage.com/ . This allows distractions from other stuff to vanish for a while. Also, I don't check the email as often ... productivity^2

congrats axod! getting into firefox is huge. we ( http://www.amahi.org ) use it to help our user community better and we saw a bump in the number of people using our channel for support, questions or just plain cheering us up, when we start
