I really want to try htmx but it specifically prohibits my most common usecases: 1) I want to take a JSON response, create HTML from it, and replace the target element with the generated HTML. 2) Similar to the above, take a JSON response,

That looks useful. I currently run OpenCode inside a containerd/Kata container and I see you support that backend. One thing I've been lazy with because it hasn't bit me yet is assuming the agent won't touch ".git&q

What do you mean specifically by safety? It seems everyone, young and old, is running AI in YOLO-mode with full system access.

It seems the term "autistic", when used colloquially, is changing from meaning "idiot" to meaning "genius".

I have a feeling the number of people downloading 2t parameter models is significantly smaller than the 1-100b models.

Broadly you have a point. In this case I would expect a Rust-based Python linter to run significantly faster than one writen in Python itself (e.g., pylint).

That's likely true. The rhetoric is just frustrating (and dishonest) because the downstream consumer never sees the benefit despite funding it. And just to clarify, I was careful to compare my $/kWh rate increases to account for v

I've yet to see my utility bill decrease despite investments in renewables. In fact the past two years I've had 9.6% and 10% rate hikes.

I use KeePassXC, just not for passkeys. I used to use Dropbox but now I use Syncthing. I use a strong password and a key file that IS NOT synced.

If you're complaining about us-east-1, you either moved into its backyard or didn't know it existed there for 20 years.

That's actually shocking. I've been in tech for 15+ years and have a good income. I've only recently purchased a new car instead of used, and with a monthly payment right by my state's average. Prior to this I never had

This is exactly a scenario that worries me. Proponents of passkeys imply you can setup a bunch of passkeys. Evidently that's not always the case.

This is a big problem I have with "just works". Everyone is used to services only allowing a single password. I know the answer to this, but it's not clear in the marketing or how it's explained to normie end-users: Won&

Aren't they effectively locked in the database of whatever password manager is used? I know you can export them, sort of, but that feature may blacklist your password manager and make it useless. Are they portable? I thought passkeys a

So passkeys achieve nothing if you can already use strong, secure, random passwords stored in a password manager?

Those will vary vastly depending on where you live. Gas and insurance are high where I live, and even though the environment is harsh on cars (winters with salt), maintenance has never been much.

This is the main reason I've avoided passkeys. I have these exact questions and there's no a clear explanation given for these. I don't want to lose access to important accounts.
