This fashion was not uncommon before the 20th century or so. For example, Daniel Defoe’s seminal work from 1719: The Life and Strange Surprizing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, of York, Mariner: Who lived Eight and Twenty Years, all alone i

You might want to have a look at rclone. Not sure if it does real-time sync, but it’s very capable. No GUI though, at least not in the official distribution https://rclone.org/

Please don’t do this. It’s against HN’s guidelines. Please don't post insinuations about astroturfing, shilling, brigading, foreign agents, and the like. It degrades discussion and is usually mistaken. If you're worried about abu

Indeed. They should explicitly state either “App Passwords will no longer be accepted after <deadline>” or “App Passwords will still be accepted even after <deadline>” depending on which is true.

AFAICT most commercial bread-and-butter systems doesn’t need something like Rust. E.g. if one’s writing a payroll system or a CRM, they would probably use C# or Java. They wouldn’t use C/C++/Rust. If they where to write the kernel

I use Pinboard for managing bookmarks. The tag system is very nice! Raindrop is another tool in that space, but I haven’t tried it. https://pinboard.in/ https://raindrop.io/
