They can (they'd have to... Otherwise most smart TVs wouldn't work for it). I'm still going to avoid their shows in protest of their closed down ecosystem though.

Is it easy to recognize the AI content stealers by user agent? Can we just feed them garbage when detected?

Arguably United airlines shouldn't have chosen a product they can't test updates of, though maybe there are no good options.

And then there's the Dave Matthews Band (and I don't mean what is spewed on stage). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Matthews_Band_Chicago_R...

It's very hard to write long-running daemons in python partially for this reason, when you make a typo on a variable or method name in an uncommon code path.

I mean this is a documentation problem. It's pretty common for python to import something it doesn't say it depends on too, btw...

Rather than writing a program you can also just use gdb and do it interactively...

I know Apple clang differs from upstream but I wonder if it makes sense to use clang instead of gcc for this comparison.

It's pretty common for e.g. old scientific software to get rewritten from Fortran to C++ with a version bump.

Unless something is a binding, baking a package after the programming language is super weird. Like what if you change the implementation language later?

Hmm for 2 digits you only have one "nice" code (69). For three digits it's the same (069). For four digits you do get two (0069 and 6969), but I think you need a lot of digits before "nice" codes are effective.

As a user, I always prefer the bespoke configuration file format, provided it has comments explaining what each configuration option does.

JSON is a terrible configuration format since it doesn't support comments.

still more readable than disassembler output :) sure if it's your "script" and you know exactly the code corresponding to it it might be ok, but that's a lot of overhead for a disposable script.

One advantage of a scripting language for scripts is that you can read it and see what it does one month later...
