Git is already a large binary in size. Hopefully if rust is added it doesn't make the binary size grow significantly larger, otherwise git may be harder to use in embedded Linux applications.

though I do 90% of my mobile browsing in firefox, sometimes I end up using the pop-up browswer widget. Looking at my data use... the uBO-less widget has used more data than firefox, despite being used much less often. non-firefox mobile use

I remember one time when I was at summit station on the Greenland ice sheet, one of the AI-driven weather models on Windy was predicting a physically impossible 40 degrees F (we were sitting on 3 km of ice, no way that can happen).
