I don't think the goal would be to identify liability for this one scenario, but to establish a pattern of identifying liability for similar scenarios.

The text corruption doesn't appear to be random. The same word gets converted to the same corruption. It's more likely an encoding/decoding bug.

It's also a good way to improve the user experience. Devs frustrating with answering questions that can be solved by technical solutions will develop those technical solutions so they no longer have to deal with those questions.

JS (the language) may never introduce breaking changes, but JS (the ecosystem) sure does. With a quite normal react app, breaking changes are a constant battle. Clone the repo, oops, one package was upgraded that broke another; upgrade that

Lots of tiny memory allocations is pretty efficient in java. The VM would have already allocated memory from the kernel so there's no context switch, and once the tiny objects are no longer referenced, deallocation is a free (0 machine

Oh no! It's already out of date! (That's a JS changes too fast joke) But seriously, calling it 'modern' is pointless. It's not adding anything valuable and its just going to become out of date (and thus wrong).

Usage of surface mount and fewer but more integrated ICs are isn't what I would consider modern. Modern designs use those things, sure, but the technology and practice is not modern. It's actually pretty dated. Maybe not as-dated

Good UI can only positively effect backend and architecture, largely because it forces a good cognitive model and thus relationships between entities. A "Good" UX can have a disastrous effect on backend and architecture. It may pu

Docker not working sure was a deal breaker for me. That's the sort of thing I would expect to work out of the box. A huge number of developers use that daily and they seem like a pretty big chunk of Apple's target market for macbo

What does it mean to be a 'a modern [...] hardware design'? Newly created? Robust in some way? Uses in-production parts? I would consider being focused on an archaic driver means it's decidedly NOT modern. Maybe "Open so

New shiny libraries, frameworks, and platforms draw in developers. Those new things are typically not well polished or optimized. By the time they get optimized, developers move on to newer and shinier things. Java, PHP, .NET, and Javascrip

If an element has a style attribute that sets the color, it will override every single CSS/Style-element style that also sets the color, unless the CSS/Style-element style also includes an !important.

This doesn't really clear up any of the questions I have. Will docker running on ARM run docker containers from images built for x86? Will docker running on ARM be able to build images for x86?

It's hard to tell if Google (and Microsoft, Apple, etc) are deliberately choosing to favor visual appeal or if they are just ignorant to usability fundamentals.
