Is this actually running Erlang processes on the epiphany cores or just erlang spawning special processes on the epiphany cores? I've seen the latter and was not impressed.

Hard to tell what is going on but it seems like a similar application of lithography in plastics... Though they don't look "atom-by-atom repeatable" sphere stalactites.

Perhaps they assume it is the same result as seagulls that eat plastic things and end up dying with a full stomach.

"Please don't roll your own security" isn't much of an option when many of these things are running on custom stuff from the ground up. But, I doubt many will pay for a secure foundation to run on... Makes me wonder if t

My fan rarely turns on, and it is barely audible. It seems the tolerance is far beyond leg-scalding for my MBP, though it only gets to that point when recompiling a bunch of version specific libraries in a sandbox for over 10 minutes.

Sounds like the analogy is gang "protection" money. However here it seems to come with additional behavioral standards to the public.

Was the nature of the crashes due to poor process isolation? Processes going into infinite loops? Memory corruption of the OS? It seems like the limitations were probably not hardware related, although many hardware features since have made

Yeah, mine crashes when I press down. After three crashes it seems to have gotten into "factory mode"? Doesn't seem like they put much fault tolerance in. EDIT: Tried the Enigma watchface that came by default, it doesn't

Apparently one can still get to the google play store [1], similar to Cyanogenmod missing Play Store out of the box. Is there inspiration or parts you can share with Remix? [1]: http://liliputing.com/2016/01/remix-

I have the phone. Despite its problems and my plan to ditch it soon, I do hope that silent circle survives and eventually thrives. I support their purpose and ideals, even if it hasn't worked out for me personally with them.

I've been using Silent Circle's black phone 2 for almost a year now, and it is a rather terrible experience. They are ahead on app-specific permission denials, but they have hardly any sense of decent QA for their SilentOS. Previo
