You can make a number of different "droplets" (instances) through 1 account, provided it has enough funds. However, if you want to host a few small websites, you can do that on 1 droplet using Apache or Nginx to set a directory fo

Sorry if this is always brought up (i haven't seen an Apple stream since the iPhone 4 event), but we /still/ need Quicktime to stream this? What the hell?

I think i believe this. A friend of mine is a virgin to late nights and all nighters. We were studying one night trying to cram for a test and communicating every so often on WhatsApp. At around 12AM, he told me he thought he was hallucinat

My personal machines (including phone, tablet etc) used to be called Snake, Zero, Ocelot, Boss. Guess which is my favourite game series.

It has nothing to do with Android, so i'm not sure why he's even comparing them. My Nexus 4 has been running like a dream for months now, no random reboots or anything like that. This iPhone bug seems to be directly related to an

I highly doubt that, unless you have some truly shocking 3rd party extended battery. The screen has taken 20% of the battery life but it doesn't mean 20% of 4 days = the amount of time the screen was on. I suggest you press Screen in S

With my extremely elementary understanding of the banking system, i'd think they loan the money you put in your account to others, and make money from the interest from that.

Through a startup, most times at least you can say you provided a service (like Dropbox). With banking, you're pretty much a devil in a lot of people's eyes and you're working purely for the profit of your employer.

I just got spam via a Google calendar event. Basic 419, location in Syria and lots of weapons and money was involved. Followed the link through Sandboxie, ended up actually at Google Calendar, marked as spam and went on with my day.

Also, is it common for 16 year olds to ask for a car in the US? I asked my mum to make my favourite food, and some money so i could go out with friends. Compared to "a car" or a Macbook Pro, it sounds like i had a deprived life.

Also, Google do some kind of scanning of applications you want to install (optional), last time i checked, so that would probably limit the distribution potential even further. AFAIK, Google's services have root access to the system (t

Would Google object to having Play on devices made in and/or for North Korean officials, or Iranians etc? Would Google be forced to restrict access to them? Granted, the amount of people this realistically affects is very small.

It'd be interesting to see how it pans out for OEMs that don't, for various reasons, bundle Play Framework/Services with their phones. This could be fixed by having the user install a GApps zip through recovery, but it'd

You do realise that the S4 and the S4 Mini are quite different? When reviews talk about the S4, you cannot extrapolate to the Mini due to different chipsets (quad core vs dual core), differing amount of RAM, resolution etc. I'm sure yo

With the presence of (liquid) water, is there a high chance of simple alien life on the moon? I mean, i can't think of any place in the sea that's downright hostile to life, where life hasn't found a way™.

I'm curious, just why did you go with the S4 mini instead of the Nexus in the first place, especially when (if i'm understanding correctly), it was cheaper? The SD card?

Keep in mind that the Lenovo has a MTK cpu which is A7 vs the A9 in the Nexus 4's Qualcomm S4 Pro, and has 1GB RAM vs the Nexus' 2GB. You also get the latest firmware on the Nexus. For £50, i'd go for the Nexus any day, espec

It was the iOS 4 update that practically killed my 3G. Everything became too slow to bear. If it wasn't for the great work of the jailbreakers, i wouldn't have been able to get back to iOS 3.

So, a vulnerability in the control panel used in probably >90% of all lowendbox providers, combined with a specific person applying the exploit to Ramnode, makes them sketchy now? Man, Apple must be the sketchiest company out there now,
