I can see why it's a trouble to let non-Canadians borrow; But what about investing? What's the legal trouble with letting foreigners invest through the internet? Isn't it just like opening an internet store, except the product is "Colektivo

This looks great. The number one question for me is: Will it operate outside of Canada? I'm from Israel, will I be able to invest/borrow?

This is the first sentence: "The media is biased against stories that want to be told." While the point of the article seems to be this: "In the mean time, many of the real stories are never told. The quiet successes by small teams who stan

I can try to answer this according to my theory. So one big "IMHO" on all the following text. Saying that chemical activity "causes" us to feel certain emotions is not correct. A little thinking could show you how absurd this is. "Causing"

We are having quite a funny argument, because it seems we both see the problem. "One of the central tenants of relativity is that what reference frames we choose is irrelevant as long as we account for all the relativistic effects." I think

Hello Newt, Thanks for answering and for forwarding this to people who know GR, this might really help me. Regarding your first paragraph: I didn't give you my analysis, I only gave you a final answer, so how can you say there's a problem w

Okay Newt, now we have something we can compare! Because I claim that SR can handle such a case. I propose that I will give the answer as I calculate it from my version of SR, and you can give it from GR or whatever you think is necessary

I understand that their systems may be simpler for their uses, and it's possible that for this reason they use Maxwell's equations and things like that: But how can they not mention it, even once? I would personally expect these equations t

There are many objections I have to raise to your post. But let's just look at the first thing you say. You say that SR can't handle acceleration. I disagree. Let's examine this issue. My first question about it is: Assume you have a "twin

In the two universities I attended, the Technion and HUJI, it was as I described. In fact, I did not know there existed such a thing as a first-year calculus course that doesn't include defining "number" and "addition" from the ground up. S

I did not think that pg said that big companies will disappear. He is saying they will never again have such a leading role. I think it's an exaggeration to think that just because start-ups have been doing well for a few decades.

It looks like the article is saying there's a trend towards small organizations. That's a different thing than saying that the era of large organizations will never return.
