The API client just let you search, get popular songs, and get individual song info. There was no downloading included in the API client - if you wanted to download a song based on the info from their APIs you would have to write your own c

Counter-claim is for after you have removed the content. I am not going to remove the content just because a fuzzy DMCA was issued. Apparently there are no options besides taking it offline or going into a legal battle

I made something similar for recording HTML5 video tags which you can pipe getUserMedia to - https://github.com/wearefractal/recorder output is WebM though so transcoding is needed
