Really good point, I hadn't considered the notification / revocation of stolen coins. And I can't picture my grandmother with all the good intentions in the world being able to secure a digital wallet properly.

Thanks nussbi, great answer. Just on point 2, as the number of transactions grow, my understanding is that all the nodes have to have a copy of the transactions (otherwise how could I verify the coins source coins without a complete trail).

Data is valuable and if you have legitimate reasons for collecting any (to improve the service of your add ons) there is always a good chance to monetize there. Highly contextual on what your add ons do though.

It's an interesting method he's developed to generate buzz for his company. Piggy backing big media draw-cards such as Facebook, Superbowl and Google claiming they are banning adds to try and prevent him operating generates a lot more free

We have a feedback javascript (from feedbackify) tab on every web page and every mail (or receipt)we send has feedback buttons. We also call customers whenever we have a good excuse (new features etc) (www.yreceipts.com)

Great idea. We allow retailers to include one advert per receipt. This advert can be transaction based, meaning when someone purchases a pair of jeans, the retailer can create a rule to show the current offer for a matching belt. Does that

Good point. For everyone who actually wants to check the receipt at the POS there is an option to also receive a paper receipt (i.e. email and paper). If the receipt is ok, you can throw away the paper receipt and keep the email receipt for

No the shop doesn't get the email address. I wouldn't want that either!! They can choose a banner ad to appear on your email receipt based on keywords. The receipt is sent from our system and we don't give them your email. The shops registe
