Sadly another great product getting killed by an acquisition. Their commercial products were kind of overpriced anyway (or too targeted at big customers) but the activity (and quality) on Ionic open source has slowed down.

Why? It's restricted to one display, but will insist on moving from one to another if you make some moves with your cursor. You can't decouple multiple windows of the same app. IIRC it insists on disappearing if you are in fullscr

Ok it was not clear if you used Redis directly with some custom code or the integrated stuff. Anyway I agree that once you go with more than one server it's a whole new world but not sure if it's easier in any other language.
