I might be in a minority saying this - and particularly so here on HN - but I struggle to understand why you'd be willing to use a tool like this, as OP did, but not to politely ask someone to keep it down?

Really disappointed that our government decided to take such a stance. What are people using when self-hosting services in the scope of iCloud nowadays? Nextcloud seems the closest comparable service.

Realistically, are they going to complain? I don’t ever remember a mass revolt over US websites blocking EU users because of GDPR.
