yes, though those require things to be seriously rewritten, I'm not convinced this can't work with existing code and putting the changes into the OS itself. Unconvinced apps needs fine grained sandboxing, even if they can benefit from it.

generally when someone uses "with all due respect", they mean they don't have much respect :) what's the difference between writing this up on a blog and linking to it and just including the content here?

this reminds me of the keychains I used to see at highway rest stops that had all sorts of people's names on them. Always wondered who bought them (especially as no one in my family has a "popular" name).

the easier answer is to leverage SSL authentication. There's no reason we should have to use passwords every time we login to a site. All sites have to do is generate a single device asymetric key pair and provide the one part to the clie

Let's say you're upset with someone, want to vent so say it anonymously and restrict said person from seeing it, so you can vent publicly, and not embarrass anyone (presuming people wont be able to figure out via the post itself who you are

oh well, didn't know about that. This isn't really too complicated, I just can't believe no one has looked at the json for the newsfeed before!

Dave's a nice guy, interviewed with two sigma a couple of weeks ago, didn't get an offer but enjoyed the experience.

what I'm surprised about is that travelling in a lincoln town car is considered luxurious! This is the standard livery cab service in NYC (which is used a lot by people who aren't considered wealthy).

I'm telling you I've compared your blockify stream to my newsfeed stream it has huge gaps. The gaps are due to my friends restrictions. you might not have friends that restrict "foreign" apps (i.e. your apps access to their data). I thin

I've done this, except I found it to be mostly worthless. why? We all restrict what other people's apps can see of ours. What does this mean? most stories aren't visible. The first 10 stories that I see through the graph api correspond to

depending how big your backup is, can take a while (copying to or from a 2TB disk takes a long time). With that said, probably easier overall as dont have to babysit it at all.
