if it works how i think it does, this could be really nice to cook up some infographics in a css framework like tailwind. then make some svgs for a github readme for example i made this one[1] with tailwind but i just ended up taking a png

try systemctl enable --now xdg-user-dirs-update.service and just to be safe I have a snippet that parses that file and exports the variables in my login shell like .profile (fish in this example but would be similar for other shell

you can use any editor you like. could be vi, vim, nvim, emacs. the point is that your editor receives text from stdin, and writes changes to stdout, in the middle of a pipeline. hopefully the examples in the readme make sense but maybe not

not in a similar category but foobar2000 for windows is infinitely customisable and really powerful. including its UI, plugins, embedded language for tag properties. for example check the reddit and look at peoples setups. all wildly differ

I recently got back into using Renoise on Linux and it's thanks to PipeWire - which lets you run JACK/Pulse/whatever programs at the same time with no hastle. It's super nice

temporary containers is really nice. but how can you replace MAC with it? I tried before couldn't assign some domains to "permanent" containers. eg. I'd like use temp containers all the time, except for some sites like Y
