Which is to say that they will become more authoritarian and aggressive? That's not a good reason to be unhappy that they can no longer hack shit. They shouldn't do that either.

Right? I saw "I’m concerned that U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies are about to go dark, meaning lose a huge portion of their capability." and my first reaction was GOOD.

There really needs to be a "terse mode" for Claude. It's WAY too loquacious. I'm hoping they aren't doing it on purpose to burn tokens.

I'm still confused about Qwen 3.6 35B A3B. Everything I read said that the 27B model performs better at coding tasks, so what's the purpose of the 35B model?

Also, "criminal activity" doesn't have the same definition across jurisdictions. Seems like it would either be overzealous in its refusals or be easy to jailbreak by claiming a jurisdiction that is loose.

I regularly get "adult missing" alerts in Los Angeles, often with no more content than that. Absolutely useless. I can't think of any reason they send those out other than abject brain damaged incompetence or priming for some

Yeah, I'm familiar with that, and I try to break them into small pieces, but sometimes I just pop one. I always get the smallest dose I can find. I don't really use it except for jetlag anyway.

Anecdote - I've used it dozens of times and I'm always foggy in the AM, so I avoid it if I have to be sharp the next morning. Perhaps it's a coincidence and this study is flawed, but I can believe it pretty easily.

Aren't all gum based basically plastic? Including natural ones? So chewing any gum is just going to fill your body with microplastics right? I wonder if the risk offset is worth it.

I don't think the differential with software is as big as it seems. If Google completely shuts down side loading or otherwise kills AOSP as an open project, you'll get a flood of millions of people into Linux devices (my rough es

I think some sort of visual paradigm is where we will end up. Something like Star Trek, where the system architecture and modules are visually represented in 3D space, and you see how the organization changes with realtime low-latency anima
