Sure, here's the repo https://github.com/collinvandyck/gpterm You'll need to supply your openai auth token, and after that you're good to go.

I wrote a terminal app using bubbletea that talks to openai and saves conversations to a sqlitedb. i use it all the time to figure out what threads to pull on for a problem with which i'm unfamiliar. it has proven to be one of the bigg

There's a guy in my neighborhood (who uses a backpack blower) and this is his main hobby. I really don't understand the appeal of doing what is a pretty monotonous task for such a long amount of time, given that in mere hours much

Maybe for your usecase, sure, but my usecase is my own dotfiles which has some of these helper scripts and it's a good fit there.

I've been writing scripts like this but with a case/esac at the bottom to map $1 to the right command. Have never thought about doing this instead. thank you for opening my eyes!

I kept running into an issue with tig where it couldn't break apart a hunk, or otherwise couldn't stage a part of one. I never figured it out by the time I gave lazygit a shot. Now that I've used lg in anger I only wish I had

Obviously GP think it's helpful? Just because you're in the minority that doesn't need IDE or LSP assist writing Java, I think that most people would argue that assist for Java is beneficial even if you personally don't

That's kind of missing the parent's point. If you wanted to ensure emails arrive, that sounds like another queue that could be backed by a different table that is also produced into as part of the original transaction.

If your problem fits, you can sometimes keep the former version in play with the pipeline pattern, where child goroutines are stopped when the parent goroutine closes the channel in a defer when it's exiting. That being said, my experi

There's a difference between being able to access gpt4 via chat gpt plus, and being able to access gpt4 over the openai APIs.

I didn't see this optimization when I read the overview. I also hope that the compiler is smart enough to avoid this.

I like this but the lazy part of me just treats anything i write into $(mktemp -d) as something that will be eventually GC'd by the operating system. I have no idea when it actually happens, or if it does at all, but that's how i

When people mention type safety in this context, they are talking about compiler guarantees. Application code that uses type assertions will never be "type safe" in the way that a compiler can ensure. So while you're correct
