There's some research going into this now. Here's an article about it from this past summer: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/07/160714120650.h... A researcher at GA tech has built a simpl

To be fair, it wasn't just Brazile. CNN is caught multiple times in the leaked emails collaborating directly with the DNC. Examples include asking for questions from the DNC to ask during the Republican debate, vetting Wolf Blizter

Wouldn't pushing a story that was "neither verified or falsified", be considered "fake news", by some definition?

It reminds me of that clip of CNN saying that we could only get the Wikileaks emails through their interpretation, and we shouldn't be reading them ourselves. ...turns out it was because they were implicated in them. https://

Exactly. Yesterday was a great example of mainstream sources losing credibility. They were all over the (as far as I know) totally unverified document that an intelligence agency decided to leak to Buzzfeed for some reason. They wonder why

Agreed. Even if she _actually_ didn't mean any harm by this, it's insane that we would be okay having someone this negligent vying for the most powerful office in the world. Of course, the argument that she had no intent is gettin

I'm in the exact same boat. The GeForce 650M is really the only component showing any signs of aging. Everything else is still running great. I used to be an Apple skeptic, but the fact that my almost-5-year-old laptop still feels comp

I think you may be mixing up carrier subsidized smartphone costs with actual smartphone costs. Unsubsidized smartphones that are good enough to run VR applications smoothly are still $600-$700.

For developers who want to put their apps in the official App Store, this doesn't really help anything. It's definitely interesting, but only on an academic level. On the whole, the iOS ecosystem is pretty locked down. If you subm

Doesn't look like it works very well. It requires a device running OSX to proxy the iMessage stuff through, and apparently the OSX client itself is unreliable.

Almost definitely not. The filter is currently part of a $3000 option package on the Model S and X. It may be an option, but I would be incredibly surprised if it came standard on the Model 3.

It isn't necessary for iOS. It's still possible to write every part of an app in only Objective-C, as there are no Swift-only APIs. AFAIK, there are no indications of that changing any time soon.

How is this a debatable reason? If they have you working for a client, and you can't communicate with the client effectively, that's a completely valid reason for rejection. Full disclosure: Former employee of Metova, and I had an

If you're in US/Canada, give Slacker Radio a shot. They do radio "stations" better than anyone. Plus on-demand if you feel like just listening to an album or something.

This is Spotify trying to differentiate themselves from other music streaming services ahead of Apple's announcement, I think. As it stands now, most music services are basically at feature parity with each other: Spotify, Rdio, Slacke

Yeah, this is totally BS. I worked on a BlackBerry app that did "live" texting a few years ago. This has been tried a few times before, but it turns out, no one really cares to read anything except the complete message.
