Like it. I'd love to see a way to set a weekly allowance. E.g. I set "eat junk food" at 0, but really, I want to say I can do it once per week as a treat ;)

That's probably 6k writes to a "normal" DB. The fanout is handled by Redis which I doubt is included in the 6k writes. Not if you want to fan out to 30 million followers in under 5 seconds.

This is wildly different from place to place... which is almost sadder. Some places have so little bureaucracy it's amazing. Some places are a mess of incompetency. In my experience, bureaucracy is a sign of lots of incompetency to follow.
