Our children are US citizens and Spanish citizens and we live in the US. When we book flights to Spain to visit family we always use their US passport details to ensure we aren’t denied boarding returning home due to lack of an ESTA. I can

Not a dig but it’s always better to be lucky than good. I’ve had an extremely lucky career but nothing like that. Two of the biggest brand blue chips then 3 really well funded startups that have been positive experiences but financially the

My comment was definitely flippant but in large metro areas airbnb at the margin leading to a rapid price increase is not the problem. It’s supply. No supporting evidence here because it’s pretty broadly available for many real estate marke

This smells a lot like when crypto people say their markets will affect greater financial markets. The scale is just not there.

I tend to read obituaries of everyday people (as opposed to the long form for famous people) when I see them. They are almost always a cruel distillation of what was certainly a far more complicated life. I think the tradition has evolved s

Started my career as an IBM SE for the mainframe in the early 2000s. They were desperate to bring young people into the mainframe world to carry the baton. My peers were all guys with kids my age or well older and most of them carried punch

I have my first name . last name @ gmail and it’s definitely a reminder of how big the world is. I had previously thought my name was fairly unique. I don’t engage anymore unless it’s a small business trying to get paid.

As a regular traveller I have to laugh and disagree. Can’t deny the level of service for flag carriers has dropped but the level of service with Ryanair is an order of magnitude worse.

I never knew this was so big of a thing. I remember hearing about it some time in the 90s and thinking it was probably bullshit - that there was no way the two works could synchronize well - but it still had some mystique. Don’t remember he
