I couldn't agree more, but we've long since given up our power collectively in hope of escaping responsibility.

There's nothing irrational about it, this is how you maximize power and profit at any and all costs.

And the conclusions are delusional, especially given how easy it is for anyone to see there is nothing in there even resembling intelligence.

I've seen this happen IRL. My former (obviously) wannabe manager used GAI to pimp our CV's before sending out to clients, pretty sure they too consulted stupid to summarize on their end.

Sounds promising but soldering electronics is pretty far outside of my comfort zone, think I'm going to let this marinate for a while.

Because the implementation should be familiar to most devs, which makes it easier to see what kind of language you're dealing with. Binary sort would be another candidate for me, but people get it wrong in subtle ways and not every lan

Because you're using the pre-processor to create a new language, which we have pretty much agreed is a bad idea. If you want that level of safety, why not use a language that provides it for you?

This is such a nice setup! They can deliver pretty much whatever they feel like. Who can tell a trash token from an hallucination? And tracking token usage is a pita. Sum it up and it translates to: sell whatever you feel like at whatever p

Too much syntax for me, adding filler words to make it read more like English is a programming language design dead end imo.

From my experience, trying to make C type safe is counter productive. It's perfectly possible to do generic vectors in C without twisting the language. This implementation isn't as safe as alternatives in other languages, but play

Allocating objects for every single property can turn pretty bad in Java. A strong enough type system would be a lot more useful.

Sometimes I feel like I actually wouldn't mind having any function touching the database tagged as such. But checked exceptions are such a pita to deal with that I tend to not bother.

Same goes for almost any other country I've been to. But the US does seem to be one of the worst places from what I see online.

I'd do this in almost any other language than C :) In C, I like just passing a const char * around as input; this also gives me ability to return progress and unget chars as an added bonus. https://github.com/codr7/

Does it really have to be either or? I get the feeling that spending a lot of time in Rust makes you believe not having that kind of backup is madness. Yet programmers all over the world get by just fine without it. And it's not free b

Yep, there's an astonishing amount of pretending involved in dates/time processing, I'm surprised anything works at all just from what I know.
