Agreed. It's not like they didn't have enough time to fix it either. And they seem semi-capable of creating usable UI's elsewhere. The thing is, when it comes to applications, both Apple and Microsoft compete with their own c

Sorry to hear that, I wouldn't bet anything on Apple but the core language contains a lot of good ideas imho.

How about presenting any kind of argument against what seems to be obviously true to anyone who has been paying attention? Nah, just downvote it out of perception and get back to Netflix.

Why wouldn't it change just as instantly the other way? They're like grass in the wind, always betting on the winning team.

But punishing humans for killing animals isn't a very rational thing to do, is it? Sounds 100% emotional to me, and emotions computers do not have. I guess if we spew enough of this BS onto the internet, AI could work it from there, bu

I see it mainly as a reaction to a dysfunctional and abusive system/culture, and not necessarily a constructive one. Fix the world and these problems don't exist.

Didn't someone recently report finding huge deposits of natural hydrogen? Doesn't solve all problems, but no technology is perfect. I'm a bit skeptic about the source for this article, they're saying exactly what I would

Makes sense, but Java's mostly portable library eco-system and its maturity would make a very strong contender to me.

Alcohol is not even close to being taken seriously enough, imho. It's not culture, it's poison, poison that makes you stupid and ugly. Seriously, why is this stil considered a good idea?

Not difficult to see if you live in the country. Every single immigrant speaks perfect German, most of them refuse to speak English. It's more the opposite in Sweden from my experience. So, good luck with the language project, I guess.

I agree, once of the biggest mistakes almost all companies make these days. They just can't stand the idea of employees not being super busy. The result is everyone optimizing to look super busy.

Experience is biological, analog, computers are digital; that's the core of the problem. It doesn't matter how many samples you take, it's still not the full experience. Witness Vinyl.
