Get a job at FAANG, then switch to an interesting position after. People go by brand name, so if you have a brand name, then they will hire you for something you may have no experience in.

Politicians in the United States are more similar to actors than to statesmen. The only difference between them and Hollywood is the necessity of academic credentials and perceived morality.

This lab theory has been systematically censored across the internet for the last week or so. For me it has been fascinating to watch content on it pop up and then disappear.

I know that specifically on reddit, most posts related to the lab theory are deleted on the main pages and subreddits for this virus. For me it's been fascinating to watch the curation and deletion of content that has been evolving ove

This would be a really scary outcome. As has been commented elsewhere, there's confirmed events of at least four virus leaks from labs in Beijing. Evidence/article on it here: https://thebulletin.org/2014/03&#

Why is it sad? 450k is reaching the top of our field, but is nowhere near the top of finance, law, and business. Engineers at the top of their game should be unsatisfied with this type of compensation.

Here's what I would advise. Do not under any circumstances quit your job. I've lived through a similar scenario, and while I had a ton of savings, quitting my job resulted in chaos. Poor sleep schedule, dropping motivation, etc. I
