At one point I noticed a lot of people from North Korea openly registered and active on Hacker Rank and I wondered how Hacker Rank was allowed to let them use their platform.

You can't know that the person who listed it doesn't have a special MSA (service agreement) with their vendor that gives them premium support and or protections not offered to "normal" end-users, and you seem to believe

I imagine that a legal system that forces a random guy to stay trapped on a ship for four years would do something worse to someone who defies their order.

I’m confused. Bernie Madoff died in prison. Can you clarify your comment? How is it relevant to this thread? His punishment, compared to the economic and personal impact of his crimes was very light in general terms. Try again.

No, this is a troll looking to diminish the value of this community. Best move is not to comment or engage in the future. Downvote and/or flag. Or contact dang at HN moderation. Or, ask curious questions. Trolls hate curious questions.

The story behind a lot of these innocence project stories is one of corruption and/or incompetence. We don’t punish those things too hard in the US unless the target is poor or brown.

Fair, adios. Would appreciate if you actually respond to subresource integrity question. Why isn’t that valid? One could couple this with a CSP that restricts eval and Function or what ever is necessary. This all seems to be just about brow

What about using sub resource integrity to allow users to request a specific JS version using its integrity attribute in the URL, that way shares also use the same pinned version, and can check/verify the integrity themselves or via so

Curious to see how this plays out. I would have expected apple to just extend the M1 a little longer rather than jumping to M2 since the M1 is still pretty limited in its robustness. I don't care what they call it, but I'll buy on
