I think it is a fairly common requirement to use multiple IPs to avoid throttling or for APIs that restrict access to individual IPs. The fact that he was confused by it does not help his credibility when he is trying to tell people how to

His requests module is an improvement, but he says being able to specify the outbound IP of an HTTP request is out of the scope of his module??? https://github.com/kennethreitz/requests/issues/394 That's why I am still using urllib2.

It was really easy to make a tiny amount of money from adbrite. The minimum payout is only $5 iirc, which is much more easily attained than the $100 from adsense even though they pay less per click. The annoying thing is the 90 day delay.

My question about extracting valid emails got closed as a duplicate of a question about validating emails. The answer they provided? "Try to send an email there and if it works, it is valid." How is this supposed to help extract emails from

When I was active I would see many of the "doing it wrong" answers. It didn't seem like a big problem at the time. I always did my best to answer the question properly. After a long hiatus, I made a new account a couple weeks ago because I

You can see bug fixes on a tracker sure. But how many lines of code is that going to be compared to a new feature or game?

When times are tough the guy who does the most menial tasks gets fired first and replaced with someone cheaper. The thing about being the guy who fixes software, is that no one will hear about it if you are doing a good job at it.

The huge advantage of B2B is that businesses get to write off your payment as an expense, so they are much more likely to pay you more.

If your SSL is compromised, the attacker can insert javascript to send the unencrypted password somewhere else. That is why security experts like tpacek have repeatedly said js encryption schemes aren't secure.

There is a serious flaw with this model. The flaw is that no one wants to fix anything because fixing things is boring and usually results in lower peer reviews than building a new feature or game. Anyone who has daily exposure to Valve's i

It is fairly evident that you have an extreme PayPal bias and that you are arguing in desperation rather than logic. Take a moment to think about the fact that you cited something completely un-innovative. Then think about the fact that not
