Good news there is actually such a thing, it's called XPrivacy. It let's you restrict permissions that apps claim they absolutely require and will feed spoofed data to them. http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed&#

how much of Facebook can you zero out before a sysadmin detects it? Probably not enough to matter, especially if there are backups which would lead to a headache for the Ops team but not much more.

Being German I'd argue that a problem is that Germany relies on the US to conduct intelligence for them and hence ignores the fact that the NSA is violating the rights of it's citizens on a massive scale.

If I read this right, the perpetrators used Facebook and other social networks to trick kids into sending them sexual pictures. How is it a website which allows for this to happen still operational? Won't somebody think of the children
