I've been trying to actually read the source material for all this "bio availability" scoring like DIAAS and I keep finding weird things. For example, for DIAAS they took current food production, averaged the total protein ra

Sure, the analysis is not "wrong" or something. That cannot be judged without a context. I just hope that those building systems they desire to be very large do not follow this post's advice.

Well, there are several problems with this analysis when you go very large (>10000 machines): - For many applications, it's easiest to put the state of the object in the primary key, and thus point reads will fail when something get

"implementing linux syscalls" ==> a million tools. I'm not sure it's strong logic to re-use something else because it implements linux syscalls, the hard part is what it does after it receives the syscall.

I found this basically only helped for laptops. Our phones and smart devices all use either DoH or hardcode a specific DNS resolver. I haven't spent the time going all the way down to re-routing all port 53 traffic, but I doubt it&#x

Cronometer I found was missing lots and lots of food items and restaurants though, and that makes it harder to report. I unfortunately travel a fair amount and this means I can't just make restaurants a "cheat meal" some days

Priority used to not be plural, and it meant "the first thing". If you can get it down to the one thing you need to be doing right now, you'll be good. If you choose the wrong priority, then that's feedback for future pr

The rubber nub function keys were replaced with plastic keys in the most recent version, much more pleasant to use. I'm sad about their departure on the 360. It's a huge keyboard, I want more keys!

Honestly this is a big thing that emacs folks don't value, multi threaded performance. I don't even use LSP because I have my own ways of browsing source code through emacs. So I go off and tout emacs' amazingness, but then w

Chickens used to be smaller too though, like the 1950s chickens were 3 lbs, now I struggle to even find chickens less than 5 lbs at costco. So a 3 lb chicken, it's still ~1360g, 1360g of beef would be ~33.
