Of course, any abuse inflicted on you is not your fault. I wouldn't take that phrase "always your fault" literally. It is about how you react to it afterwards and what you do to get back up. As he also said "you just fix

Munger didn't say that you should deny being a victim. You should just not use that situation as an excuse for your future actions. Anyone can be victim of anything. But what you choose to do after that experience is the key.

You are missing the point. It is not about misfortune. Yes there are millions of people like your parents who worked hard and struggled to provide. But did they choose to be victims ? No. You can have misfortune and still choose not be a vi

You work at a FAANG as you commented elsewhere. Of course it is low for you. 150k however is not a low salary on an average even in US.

Depends on the age. I took my 4 and 3 year old to Disney World and they don't remember anything. On the other hand, since Age 6 and onwards, they remember most of the stuff. So you cannot make a blanket statement and need to take Age i

GP didnt say that. They said lot of devs become "front end" or "back end" specialists which means that they cannot do full stack. Full stack devs knowing React is fine. The problem is that most "React devs" don

If everything is really true and you have been able to assess correctly, this person sounds like someone who doesn't have X years of experience but more like 1 year of experience X times. Huge difference. The worst combination is someo

They don't have to know. But if you won't take a job because of OS, you should ask upfront in the interview. Better to end it right there instead of continuing further. Heck, ask before the interview through email and get it over

The tooling ecosystem around JS is nuts. Packages (npm etc) hardly have any backward compatibility. You install a package today. In 3 months, that code won't build. The errors want you to go take a cryptography course to understand WTF
