I'm all for MVP's, and this does say BETA, but I can't get it to work and it looks like it's riddled with bugs. * It's not signed on Mac, so you have to jump through a hoop or two to install it * When I click my acc

How do you know which products will not fail? What is your marketing strategy? I usually post my projects to Hacker News or Reddit or something. None of them every turn into businesses, although I'd like them too.

I've released a lot of stuff^. My first rule is to simplify like your life depends on it. Remove everything you don't need. You can add more back in later. Make it ugly. Make a tiny part of it. But make something you can RELEASE.

I'm the weird dude that uses a Mac and a Pixel phone. I'm a dev so I wanted the flexibility of being able to code for my phone without spending $99 a year. That's why I switched from iPhone to Android half a dozen years ago.

SF seemed like a walkable city when I visited. I walked from my hotel to Fishermans Warf and back (back is a LOT of up hill). But I think at least parts of it are pretty walkable.

Even the state of Utah seems to be failing at this . They recently started to snail mail vehicle registration reminders again. I signed up for email reminders on all my vehicles multiple times and I've never received an email from the

This doesn't work for me because I forget that I redirected a specific host and end up troubleshooting my network. Especially if a few medium articles showed up at the same time, months after I blocked it.

A little off topic but are we talking about Country Companies? I know of them only because I worked at Iomega in the late 90's and they had purchased a lot of Jaz drives and had a very high failure rate. I went on-site to check it out.

In a comment here they mentioned that they use a composting toilet, a jug for gray water, and drinking water in a jug with a spout. They have to manually empty the gray water and composting toilet.

I buy a lot of black 100% polyester t-shirts for this reason. They don't need to be ironed and I don't have to decide what I'm wearing for the day.

It seems like nothing in this prevents a new rule, however, that says you can't sell it cheaper on your own website. Amazon has been doing this with Kindle indy authors for a long time.

I was kind of surprised the article didn't discuss the BBS culture that existed before the internet. The blue link may have started after this but maybe it borrowed a bit from the colored keyboard characters used in text-based menu sys

I own a Wyze scale and I noticed my cat standing on it. So, I created an account for her. She steps on it often enough that the wyze app gives me weight charts for her. I bet it would give me readings multiple times a day if I just set it i

Ha, ha. I also thought we were talking about Dynamically Loaded Libraries and I couldn't remember a time when Windows would show me how many DLLs I had loaded or stop me with, "Sorry, too many DLLs loaded". :P

The article goes on to say that tools the SEC uses made the success of the trades look improbable. The only fine I see listed is for about $72k. I can't tell if the scheme was profitable or not because that was just one person. I assum

One thing that comes to mind is freeway sign fonts in the US. They have recently started to change and I certainly don't like the new ones as well as the old ones. But, maybe that's just my human emotions avoiding change.

It's not Alien but I think it fits in the (unknown) category really well... Buried, with Ryan Reynolds. It's a pretty good flick that's filmed almost entirely in a small dark box with only him in it.

Just to add some contrast to this $20k figure and Watham's comments about the upside, I've published several small books that get very good reviews but haven't sold a lot of copies. I self published on Amazon as an eBook and
