Indeed, I wasn't too clear in my comment. It slows down to a crawl because rather than queueing OCR, it does it all at once. 100 documents means 100 tesseracts running in parallel.

This is very interesting and important to understand. I'm wondering how often has this been successfully argued? Surely a lawyer would have heard about this effect and be able to get the evidence thrown away given the flawed accuracy p

Not sure about Belgium but in France, they have declared a state of emergency since last November. As such, the police can raid anytime, anywhere without a warrant. Something similar might have happened there?

There is an excellent project named PlatformIO to program this and other chips: http://platformio.org/ A ton of work went into it and setting up the toolchain is as simple as `pip install -U platformio`.

Plain text passwords are bad, don't send it in the email at all. I hope they are stored as hashes and not plaintext on the app's end.
