Just got back from a meditation gathering from meetup.com and all I have to say is WOW. Powerful, and highly recommended. Start with 3 min a day right when you wake up (before food, cigarette, anything at all) and then go from there.

True true, though it's more characters to type :) And is ES7 going to be called ES2016? (Considering how JavaScript is starting to run everything there is a certain long-term logic to this naming approach.)

Why not write in ES6 and transpile downwards to ES5? You're just fighting the direction of the wind otherwise. ES6 feels much, much nicer to work with in nearly all ways.

When I started investigating isomporphic strategies with Reflux I stumbled upon this thread ( https://github.com/spoike/refluxjs/issues/144 ) which made me realize that if I didn't switch quick I would hav

I would say that Flummox is a slightly more verbose Reflux, written in a way that is somewhat more future proof and adaptable to change.

I like very much that the API is more "standard" (reflux, imo, has some strange patterns) -- also, due to the ability to instantiate every aspect of the pipeline, you get isomorphism for free, and testing is much, much simpler. A

When will people start releasing ES6 editions of things? Seems so old school when you can simply write `class Foo extends Bar {}`

What I mean about take home test is "build an app that does x y and z, write tests, talk about your choices" -- something that you can't quite google. Take home tests for questions like "explain how to use fn.apply()&qu

I've choked so bad on whiteboarding interviews that I've felt ashamed for weeks; yes, I am one of those people. But then when I broke the anxiety after practice, they became easy. The key is understanding that it's the proce

I may be wrong, but I feel the anti-transpile crowd hasn't done their research. Comments in this vein have been popping up for years and have been resolved for years. Check out the transpiled Babel code -- it's what you would ex

You never really know until you know you don't know? What we know now is that we think we know -- that is, until we don't. Theories are meant to be superseded.

I've been thinking about cursors and the potential for this problem, too. In your experience would you say that a strict flux pattern utilizing the PureRenderMixin and immutable data is a better way to go, and that one should avoid cu

This looks totally awesome, but man, the name... it just doesn't communicate your purpose right away, but rather confuses it! I might be of the electronic music generation, but "loop" + "z" == "beatmaking"

Really nice (and a fantastic JavaScript overview in general), though the MUST and SHOULD's get a bit wearing on the eyes after some time; perhaps a simple bold would suffice?
