Yep, one of my friends was in the program for that. He was permitted to get a special edition i3 right when they launched in lieu of being able to buy the car off-lease.

Dell developer edition laptops are built for Linux. As usual with laptops there’s a tradeoff between portable and powerful. Switchable graphics are a pain (anywhere, not just on Linux). I’d recommend getting a machine with passable integrat

P4G is great. In terms of money per hour of entertainment I definitely got huge value. I never finished the game (really, I just can't dump 80ish hours into a game anymore), but I really enjoyed what I did play.

I think hosting could be solved somewhat easily depending on how much control PBS actually has of their programming. They could go peer to peer, which makes total sense for a public good. Digitization costs are still an issue, of course. I

Minor correction: guile Emacs doesn’t replace Emacs lisp with scheme. It just uses guile as a backend for Emacs lisp.
