I use Doom without the vim. Comment out one line of the default config and you retain all the niceness of doom (good defaults, fast loading) but with standard Emacs bindings.

My Poång has only recently been replaced by a Lovesac, which is slightly less ergonomically correct but much better for napping in. The Poång is an absolute steal at 1/10 the price
