Plenty of people have ran huge sites by themselves. Marcus Frind of POF comes to mind. He had over 30 million users a month back in 2007 and no employees. It's not that hard if you know what you're doing.

Find out the emails of the founders/engineers of the app, then sign up with their email address to every newsletter and spam list you could think of. Use crunchbase to find the info. Maybe a taste of their own medicine could slap some

Sorry but that's complete nonsense. That's over 2.5 billion domains. You probably mean all 6 letter English dictionary words -- which might be true.

I'd recommend Ubuntu -- especially if you're just starting out.

Completely underwhelming. It's just a bunch of random personality questions that give no real insight about the person.

Probably flagged by 1 or 2 users. Flagging can affect the position in an exponential fashion.

You should probably have a disclaimer next to your comments. It sounds like you have some relation to Creo.

The people interviewing want to be educated on why the current solutions aren't good enough. Being snarky or dogmatic isn't a good way to educate someone who wants to learn. The founders could have done a better job.

I would also advice not going to the user's Google+ account. I was curious, and I regret it.

Some of the things are obvious, but others not so much. I upvoted it because I went through a similar situation where (like the OP) I built a product without first figuring out the market and hard to learn everything the hard way. I'm

That's really awesome to hear. Thanks for sharing. I'm curious, how is your tax structure set up? Are you an LLC, C-corp, etc...?

I have a similar problem and this sounds like a great way to combat it. I'm curious, do you write down the little pieces as a todo list or do you just make a mental note and go about it?

Looks like I'm gonna have to ditch React and IO now. I think those are getting outdated. Will be rewriting all apps in Scala.js.

Angular is kind of old and outdated so I'd suggest something like React. React is more robust, and it'll be around for at least 2 years.

AngularJS is not a great framework. In fact, it's a horrible framework. You should really be using ReactJS. It's leagues ahead and much more robust. BTW, Angular is also getting old.

Spend a lot of time reading technical material, and be active on Twitter and other places were engineers hang out. Watching videos also helps. There's a lot of JS/Rails/Python stuff on YouTube etc...
