The popularity of a project doesn't change it from "toy" or "personal" to "primary focus of developer's time". The developer might still only have so much time to spend on the project.

While that might have made the community feel a little better, I don't think the maintainer had to do anything, certainly they don't have to explain why they made this or that decision. People should decide if it's a big deal

I disagree that application developers for iOS have the option of selling their products on their own. No matter how much money a developer invests in their own e-commerce operation they still have no legal method for getting their applicat

I see that BorgBackup is available in Chocolatey[0] and it looks like the current version. It's not clear to me if this is an official port or not, but I am interested. :-) [0]: https://chocolatey.org/packages/borg

I've been using Borg for a couple of years now (and before that, Attic[0]) and I have been very happy with it. It's seen me through three laptops and it has been reliable and easy-to-use. [0]: https://attic-backup.org&#

I believe these actions are egregious enough that they do warrant taking some action, a conversation at minimum. That being said, in my own experience there is a near constant undercurrent of political sentiment that I simply avoid because

In my opinion, that was outside the bounds of the study; Cantlon was being asked to speculate. That said, sexism is the mechanism and it's a pretty big part of our society; there are lots of studies on this already. So much so that som

I do not believe that this is accurate, in my opinion this assertion requires some documentation. I looked up the survival rate of premature babies and the neonatal mortality rate (28 days after birth) is higher in the US than in Canada.[0]
