This is one of the classic juggling resources. Lots of fun doing juggling and learning club passes. http://www.kwos.ca/ was a site I did plenty of yo-yo tricks from during early career and really helped offset some rsi issu

What Perl nailed was being useful to write cross platform shell scripts. Agree that it didn’t scale up but you had a chance of delivering n platforms with minimal pain. awk v gawk doesn’t make me want o to relive those days.

Funnily enough, I look at the pricing and think there’s no way I’d get this tool. If it’s 10/user a year I dont think they are economically viable

You had to buy C compiler on many operating systems. At least once upon a time, it came with another giant set of books.

I think of the Pro-WASM argument as trying to tightly define stricter runtime capabilities model and static linking bare container style. N wasm operations to guard rather than N syscalls. The cloudflare worker infrastructure is very cost e

One hypothesis I have is that as food and labor costs have increased, people eat out less and generate more store traffic. Those shoppers are stuck with the decision to cook and their demand on a per store basis is more inelastic.
