Who says this won't give you access to major releases? To me, that's why this is so interesting with WWDC in a month and a half. Could they be preparing to release changes to OS X that are large enough to warrant the opening of be

My university used to do the same, although as of this term that class is now taught using ARM on a Raspberry Pi.

That seems intentional. This seems like it's trying to be a "fundamentals of Computer Science" type thing than actual Computer Science. It's the stuff you need to learn first before you can move into actual Computer Scie

You are not the target market for Loom. It makes no sense to ask why you'd pay for Loom over a VPS because they're not going after people who know what a VPS is. They're going after your mom, grandma, etc.

Yeah, you went from 8 vCPU Cores to 2 vCPU Cores on that plan as part of the upgrade. It seems the processor upgrade makes up for that decrease a little bit, but it is a decrease.

To me, it seems like it makes sense that a great developer should absolutely know how his code is running, how his changes interact with the production environment in which the code runs, etc.

I'd recommend watching it before reviewing its premise. I didn't take away "SV is full of assholes" after watching the first episode.

It looks like all of the rewards are limited, so hopefully they've planned for this much demand. Of course, as another commenter pointed out, there's precedent for huge demand for a kickstarter project like this. A similar 3D prin

Does Facebook use this system to turn on new features for a certain subset of the user base to test those features out, or is this mainly for A/B testing existing features?

Is it really that difficult to understand why the CEO would be treated differently in that regard? His job is to lead the company. It's hard to do that when many Mozilla employees fundamentally disagree with his stance on how their LGB
