Engineers that can communicate effectively in English, work collaboratively, break cultural barriers and stick to company values are just a handful.

My location “didn’t have coverage” as I live at the edge of my town followed by Murdoch’s ranch next to me. I talked to the rep to the point of just let me try it as there’s nothing to lose. They already provide full refund on the product f

Similar situation but I switched to T-Mobile. I have a Starlink order but it got delayed 6 months. At this point, I'll just cancel it because T-Mobile Home Internet is a game changer.

So many ifs. Look, even if you pass the school zone, kids play around. In rural areas, this is very common. Yeah, you could go at the speed limit, but people are just careful or make a judgment call.

Even worse, there are school signs that say 15mph when children are present. Kids could be behind cars, bushes, people, etc. That’s a very hard task to deal with.

More than making a dumb car, make the right to repair/replace/upgrade in case the car maker stops supporting the service; otherwise, this calls for planned obsolescence.

This makes me wonder how much complexity can they grow until it's not sustainable by the culture? At what point smart talent would say enough is enough and start hiring average joe's? How would that be reflected to customers?

The worst part of k8s is definitely its configuration system. I don’t like helm as it’s combining packaging, templating and deployment lifecycle. I feel like each of this components should’ve been its own abstraction.

I got the Asus x570 TUF. Wireless and Bluetooth work out of the box. I'm using kernel 5.11.x. Looking forward to upgrading to a newest kernel as AMD cards are better supported. The build also has an AMD 5800x, 6700xt nitro+, nvme 1TB,

I wonder if this could be taken as IE on Windows by default. Would this be anti competitive knowing there are industry efforts to benefit customers on other big customers.

I’m in a rural area in Montana and luckily I have access to a 5G tower. My impression is if you are close to one, it’s better and cheaper than going with Starlink even if you have to pay extra money to set up an external MIMO antenna to imp

I do like the snap concept, but some implementations are just not that great. For instance, kustomize as snap doesn't let you read anything outside that is not in the snap fs. Not even in --classic mode. A similar issue happens with ne

If you used fluxcd you could remove the need for terraform and keeping the state. Validation can be done with kubeval. The issue would be connecting fluxcd with the local bare repo, but it could be exposed with a reverse tunnel.

Lua in helm3 seems interesting, but it's not prime time yet. That makes me explore other options because helm's limitation in reusable templates is painful. Jsonnet seems to be working for several companies as well as kustomize. I
