It varies a lot based on what language you’re looking at, how much time you want to put in and what level of proficiency you’re at. Your best bet is probably to search for the learn $language subreddit for relevant apps, resources and blogs

Thanks for sharing this; I will be trying this out for searches that don't work well on Google. Millionshort allows you to remove the top n most visited sites from your search results. I'm expecting this to be useful for surfacing

I agree that this article probably wasn't the best but it does describe major problems for developers of Windows apps, many of which weren't the fault of the developers: they couldn't obtain a developer account simply because Microsoft does
