I don't want to be tracked either. But if companies can play the law this easily, I think it's a pretty bad law.

I was recently working on getting Golang running on an N64[1]. While the hardware emulation was far from perfect, the easy to use debugger helped me a tremendous amount to get started. [1]: See https://github.com/embeddedgo

I must say, I don't like it at all. As with all characters that aren't part of my keyboard, the extra steps to type these add so much friction. Also, I would probably misread ρ as p, giving me the weirdest compile errors. How wo

I would love to see a desk with an integrated mechanical keyboard, or an inlet for them. I really liked the mechanical keyboards I had, but ultimately I prefer very slim keyboards.

Regardless of how uplifting this news article is, I think there is a lot of recklessness on the mother's side. In that condition she should carry an emergency button with her.

I tried "What features were added in the latest golang version", but it's convinced 1.18 instead of 1.20 is the latest version. When I asked about the latest version it told me it's 1.19rc2 and gave me instructions to in

Thanks, I will give it a try! Maybe event AstroNvim, because it's very close to my current config, which is probably pretty outdated in many places. Especially the all in lua config is very compelling.

Does someone know how the outline in the second image is created? I'm using tagbar but I would prefer to get the outline from LSP or Treesitter and only fallback to ctags.

There are light bulbs that will automatically decrease light temperature when they are dimmed (e.g. Phillips with "Warm Glow"). There is no use case for either warm bright or cold dim light. Made the installation much simpler for

I'm doing the same: https://gist.github.com/clktmr/7343895cc0dcc5a80a6c3d39d22ca... This will also backup and restore any files it might override.

True if you only do DIP, wouldn't recommend it for SMD. Eventually you will need to debug your PCB and solder some fixes, which will be frustrating for SMD parts without the proper equipment.

You can start with a breadboard, oscilloscope and a set of standard parts (LEDs, resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes). Combine this with a microcontroller you can flash via USB dongle or an RaspberryPi. Should all fit on a desk. The

It's often difficult to find a summary in 50 characters, and it should be! Anything that's longer than 50 characters is probably too verbose too be viewed as a log.

I haven't tried my hands at eBPF yet. But wouldn't it be easier to just use strace() as long as you are only interested in syscalls?

> Minor Barriers Aren’t Minor This reminds me of Torvald's talk at Google about git, where he emphasizes how important it is to be able to change branches fast , reasoning that it will determine how git will be used in the future.

All my comments were in regard to the original thesis by Roaring Kitty, that it should trade at least in the $20s instead of below $5. I don't understand why you keep making references to current price and the resulted community, whic

No, the original thesis was solely to survive another console cycle. As I said elsewhere, the 2020 valuation implied Gamestop defaulting on it's debt in 2021, because most analysts didn't even expect gen5 consoles to have an opti

What exactly is a "600% valuation"? In 2020 Gamestop was valued at a level that implied bankruptcy within two years.
