I've never head of TWSBI, although I do enjoy Moleskine. Would you be able to give a comparison between them?

This isn't aimed at you, but I think it's interesting that a couple of days ago (yesterday?) we had a thread where people said they would like a company to be honest and upfront about the need to make a profit, and clear about it

Isn't K related to Q (and KDB)? We have one guy at work responsible for all of our KDB stuff because no one wants to learn either!

I have to say, I work for a bulge bracket bank ran entirely (well, mostly) on MSSQL 2008/2012, and I don't think I've ever had any issues with it, apart from the one set of DBs that someone decided to turn into a backend for

Security and media devices are what a lot of people seem to go for, or DIY IoT. I know your pain, I have a few Raspberry Pi's sitting in my draw...

People generally seem to go for it instead of C++, from what I've heard it's got a cleaner syntax and less (none?) UB.

It's not about want, it's about a requirement that they're maintained, expanded.

What vi-mode extension would you recommend? Vimperator always seemed worse than Vimium (on Chrome), mainly because the scrolling is jittery.

I think the distinction between nullable types and the non-nullable types you speak of is fairly narrow, you've just made it type safe (which isn't a bad thing!).

const means a completely different thing depending on what language you come from (even JavaScript). I think readonly has a much clearer meaning.

But isn't that exactly how dynamic linking works? By loading a DLL at runtime? The only issues I've ever had with dynamic linking are at _runtime_, where XXX.dll can't be found.

Ive always wondered why they don't break the text editor from Visual Studio out into a native lightweight editor. If they did that I would switch from Notepad++ for my text file editing on Windows. However, even if there was a native V

While Visual Studio is a testament to understanding your users, it's not great software. Randomly slow downs (even with Visual Assist turned off) and hanging every time you open a moderate (~50 project) solution.

Moleskine squared notepads are my favourite writing materials in the world. It would be nice if they weren't so expensive, but it's worth the cost.

In your C++ example you're giving `std::mismatch`, which is a generic algorithm. If you're so inclined you could provide a wrapper that has the same interface as the Go example, but you're comparing apples to oranges. I'
