I really love him too! One of my absolute favorites. For people who visit Copenhagen with the same affinity there is the obvious national gallery SMK[1]. But other worthwhile visits catering to Vilhelm Hammershøi are often overlooked. The H

You seem to be the only one mentioning this. And I think it is important to stress. Browser engines[1] are hard to get right. But not impossible. Google did a great job with the Blink engine. So much so that even Microsoft caved in and is u

I just installed Android TV[1] on my Raspberry Pi 4 just 2 days ago. This will give you the same error because it is not authorized by Google (known issue!). Apart from that everything else runs fine on the Pi. I would however not recommend

Is that not what the courts are for? Do you want Cloudflare to act as a judge? If they find your calling out misinformation resonable you then want them to act as a legal shield for you? I do understand and accept the need for privacy when

Beware! The OP was originally at a good provider which got bought out by Team Internet. See: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42364033 If you take a look at: https://www.domaindiscount24.com/en/abou

I do not think so. I think if someone would have made an effort to rip off the real Dell site I would fall for it. I am just so lucky that scammer mostly prefer to go after the easier marks. I am not sure what a better solution could be. Th

Nah ah. Not. While we might be able to find common ground in the statement that "safe transfer should be the default", we will differ on the definition of "safe". Unfortunately these discussions often end up in techno-ba

Doing session management is orthogonal to this. Still a fun idea, though. Even better, actually. But it introduces a new security concern. How quickly should the session time-out (or not?). But it will be good for UX. But to explain the ori

That is a strawman. You can disagree and think that the OP was letting the definition of "minimalism" and "brutalism" do too much heavy lifting. But you rather imply that without javascript you cannot create a "winn

Many (most?) current TVs has either a game or PC mode which can be set on your HDMI to disable these "improvements". I think this is primarily driven by console gamers to the benefits of PC users. Our needs align here. If you chec

Not quite correct. Their dedicated servers base configuration have 1gig. But when ordering you can add 10gig as an easy option (or add later). The 1 gig is too cheap to meter with free traffic. If you choose 10gig you pay for the traffic. T

Around the Windows XP / 7 timeframe I used Blackbox for Windows (bb4win)[1] and was very happy with it. I used it for I think 2 or 3 years. I cannot remember if it was with Windows 7 or 10 I stopped (I skipped 8). It was painfree and n

Well. Point taken. You have an important core of truth to your argument about polarization. But... Strongly disagree. I think that is a very unfair reading of what I wrote. I feel that you might have a bias which shows but that would be the
