I guess not by itself, but you can control it externally in the command line. You would have to write a daemon monitoring the folder yourself. https://github.com/NerdyPepper/dijo/wiki/Auto-Habits

Thank you for the link, that's exactly what I was looking for. I see the point that a single developer does not have to focus on maintainability so much. And if it works for him -- as it obviously does -- more power to him. But for me,

rxi indeed is awesome! Do you know in what language/engine his (her?) tools on itch.io are written? They all have an awesome pixelart look to them and I wonder if (s)he uses lua for them too.

Cool project with awesome visuals! It's always interesting to see games published made with LÖVE in lua. I'm writing an "Advance Wars 2" clone at the moment in LÖVE and hope to get some inspiration from your code. You se

Maybe because all variables are `nil` by default, and checking on undeclared variables does not raise an error. So `if foo then ... end` is often used as an existence check, where `foo = 0` should be truthy.

That is interesting to hear! How large are the classes you are teaching live? Our class has 100+ students and we decided in the beginning of the semester to focus on multiple, shorter (10-25 min) videos both for lecture and tutorial. There

This sounds very interesting! What are your thoughts on nim vs julia? In the scientific community, julia is popular for similar reasons as nim like easy syntax and compiled code. If you think nim will take over in bioinformatics, how is the

These are all valid points. But as OP's software is educational and runs locally (I guess), what would be the attack vector?

Maybe I'm missing something, but (apart from Secure Boot) I used dd to create bootable Linux USBs and booted into UEFI just fine. At least on recent Ubuntu images.

I use ipython a lot, and it has a great post-error debugger with `%debug` which drops you in a ipdb shell at the stackframe of the error. Concerning reloading, I find `%autoreload` much more reliable than `importlib.reload`. The latter can&

A big difference is jax having a tracing compiler while numba does not. In general, jax is more suited towards vectorizable code (so using numpy functions broadcasted over axes) while numba is better for accelerating manual for loops. (I&#x
